It's never wrong to wonder anything? As in, I wonder if you've taken a
vintage black paint M3 and slammed it into a refrigerator door? I wonder if
you've applied nail polish remover to the top plate of a LHSA black paint
M6? I wonder if you've applied diluted acid to an original black paint M2?

And I wonder if this isn't just another little troll of yours, such as the
one where you declared the M to be an obsolete and pretty much useless
camera? ;-)

A solution to a non existent problem since
I wasn't thinking of sending my camera to him.
Is there something wrong with expressing healthy
skepticism?
As for those who swear by him I have a feeling they
have 500 invested in this and may unknowingly not be
as objective as they would be if they were simply
evaluating it.
Painted surfaces can only be evaluated destructively
or over years of REGULAR use. Have they tried nail
polish remover or diluted acid to see if the paint
will smudge? Have they intentionally smacked it into a
door frame? Did you know that all of the major mfgs
used special acid resistent paint? Is it wrong to
wonder aloud if this product is up to specs?
