That's wonderful news. It doesn't make any sense to not get another and

Hi Roland,

Thanks for sharing this sad story. I too think, as Tina and Hugh
suggested, that you might consider a new dog, but that is for you to
decide. I know that if my Cheeta had been killed I would have got
another dog; it would never be the same but as Tina writes, there is
enough love for all of the them. However, it looks like I will not need
to make that decision because my dog will recover. We visited her in the
doggie hospital yesterday, and sat outside in the warm sun for 1/2 hour
with her and the vet; she was happy to see us and my wife and I were
even happier to see her. Today is her 1st birthday. When we get her
home, maybe on Friday, more likely next week, she will get the nicest,
juiciest steak I can find at the local butcher...
