The Gitzo's are the gold standard.  They are light, they work, and they
really have a lifetime warranty.  My original lost a leg after five years
and they shipped me a new version two.  Some are cheaper, and some don't
have the twist locks but my Gitzo's have taken a lickin and keep on working.
Gosh, that sounds like I like my tripods. :)
