Subject: [Leica] R8 film scratching issue?

I just reviewed the LUG archives re this issue...seems an intermittent problem...perhaps
related to the age/version of the R8... is there a way to inspect a given R 8 and decide
if the problem might develop...or if a modification to prevent this,  has already been
done.       thank you. Steve
