<Just discovered the Ricoh GR1 on the web - would appreciate any comments on
<this camera esp. from folks that have used it or in comparison to the Hexar
<AF

Well Nitka they are really different. Gr1 is small, pocketable, has a 28mm
f1:2.8 has a magnesium body, flash incorporated and Konica Hexar AF is much
bigger, has a 45mm f1:2, if memory helps me, is the most silent camera I
have and has a separated flash. Both are fixed lenses and sharp indeed but I
find myself using much more the Ricoh as I love 28 mm lenses. You cannot go
wrong but I am not sure if Hexar AF is still manufactured. You have too an
outstanding Ricoh GR21 with a great 21mm lens (but with a lot of vignetting
and a surrealistic price for a P&s)

Kind regards

Felix
