Hi again Graham.  I believe Ted is correct that this landscape has too much
going on.

If you can return then push your lens through the greenery and use the lush
purple flowers as a foreground to the people on the path.  A less harsh
lighting would help as well.  Think of this as an invitation to go back to a
lovely garden in the evening, perhaps with someone you care about and a
bottle of wine and a Leica.  Your friend could pose on the path for a few
minutes and then you both could enjoy a little wine with evening coming on.
Isn't multi-tasking a wonderful thing?
