Subject: [Leica] Electronic printing options: xerography vs. piezography

I am told by the experts that nowadays the Cone ink system called
Piezography is one of the best methods for printing black and white
photographs.
Say I wanted to use a xerographic engine, in a copier or printer. How good
can they be? My main interest is black and white. However, does it make
sense to use a color xerographic machine to print color negatives or
slides--palette, resolution, etc. Or for that matter, black and white. I am
not sure where to find information. Thanks for leads. Also, I suspect there
are larger document production systems from Xerox and others which can
handle photographs well, but I am interested in more modest machines. Thank
you,
