Of course, Pericles, there is the fact that the new Nikon D1000 - cost,
about $2,000 - assuming it comes out next month as scheduled - is a 6
Megapixel camera, so one can immediately take$5000 off your price....or, for
that matter, get a Canon D60 - available now - and take $5000 off that price
of yours. Plus, you don't need a Powerbook G4, any decend computer will do,
and most of us already have them.....;-)
