Richard, couldn't you simply add a diopter mechanism
in the back of the viewfinder that adds in the
correction needed without having to redesign the whole
rangefinder mechanism?  I have a viewfinder for
another camera that does this. The downside of this is
it would add cost to the whole camera for a subset of
customers that need it.
