Hi Vic,
As honest an answer as I can give and I realize it sounds like I'm joking,
I'm not but dead serious. The only time you need a lens cap is when the lens
is in the bag and not walking about looking for pictures. A touch of dust
never did a picture any harm.

Save your frustrations at loosing it and trying to find another. Forget the
cap, that's the simplest answer....
