The PLUG suggests a hello kitty sticker for the red dot - though I'm not up
to date on which character is in vogue right now.

BTW - why do you want to cover it all up? Are you going undercover
somewhere?

Really - I don't see the point. Some of the worlds best  Leica pix were
probably taken with a silver camera... it doesn't make any difference.

Black tape isn't tacky - it makes you look like a Pro from National
Geographic. Some people take some wet/dry paper to the finish to add a bit
of silvery sheen (works by far the best on a brass topped model though -
that way you could look like Jim Marshall

(but if you really want you lacquer sticks, you can get them at the auto
store in the paint section. But most folks use white to re-fill letters)
