Comparing digital images is VERY tricky business.  You MUST know what has
been done to them.  Some cameras sharpen the image in the camera...and some
may not.  The amount of sharpening can have a very negative effect on
different images.  My point is, comparing "sharpness of picture" is a very
dubious thing to do, unless you compare RAW images, with NO processing at
all.  Then all things are equal.

It's like comparing a camera by using prints from different enlargers...with
different enlarging lenses, and different papers etc.  The results will be
different, and may not be attributable to the camera it self.
