It would be generous for those to warn that this is happening so the surprise of watching something on tape-delay (or TiVo delay) won't have the outcome ruined. It doesn't take much: a SPOILER warning and 20 lines of spaces so outcomes aren't revealed. I work hard to avoid discovering outcomes inadvertently for events I will be watching that are delayed.
