Somewhat in that vein, I recommend David Perry 
(www.davidperrystudio.com) - he does a lot of "kustom kulture" (read: 
women who want to be Bettie Page and guys who want to be James Dean) 
work and has published two or three books (I love his mostly 
non-portrait "Hot Rod").
