Hi Dante:

I suspect you are right - I have always valued the Leica brand very
highly, as I have the Linhof and the Hasselblad brands -- so I am
thinking of going Leica for the SLR.  The viewfinder is, for me, a very
big part of the equation.

As mentioned, I have the M3 - I purchased it to replace a Leica IIIg.
Perhaps I could buy a more modern M but from what I have read, I don't
think the viewfinders would work very well for me.

If you have a suggestion or two, based upon the price differential, of
SLR cameras that have viewfinders you believe I could use comfortably, I
would very much appreciate knowing your thoughts.
