Don, the portrait of your daughter goes beyond being merely an image of 
a young woman; it is something deeper. The use of the painting is well 
done.

The image of your mother--well, who cares about a picture while the real 
person is still here. On of the serious regrets of my life is that I was 
too self-imposed busy to visit my mother while she was in the hospital 
"for a few days." A stay from which she never returned.
