Shoot away. C41 and black and white are quite forgiving. Pull the battery for
an hour or so and see what happens but there is not much in an M6 to reset (no
PRAM to zap). Is the shutter speed dial off B? Are the ISO  contacts on the
back being pressed in firmly (and clean)?
