Subject: [Leica] M7 AE

Just got back my first roll of film from the M7. (Kodak Portra 400 VC). The
AE worked fine. I am impressed.

This past week I have been "documenting" our church's building project. The
first two days I was using my "point and shoot" EOS system in AE mode.
Yesterday I used the M7. I like the M7 stuff better, but my comparison is
not scientific. My photo finisher automatically color corrected the Canon
rolls, but I asked them not to adjust the Leica roll. The Leica shots have
somewhat better color saturation. Other than that, the lighting was very
similar (bright, mid-day sun all week long here in the Philly area. That is
why I was using Portra VC, hoping the colors wouldn't totally washout.)

Regards,
Doug
