But Dan, the reason one buys a 'lux is because one needs it for low light
shooting - wide open. If one only cares about how the lens performs at f2,
2.8, or 4, but a Summicron....

Wide open, I can't argue with you, but stopped down a couple of stops  the
old 35 'lux is fantastically sharp.  When I start selling off my lenses, it
will probably be the last one to go.
