Yes, I looked at the polio work at the End Polio site.  Very good work,
of course. Yes it would be interesting to know the details of his
printing. It would also be interesting to know what films he uses and
how he rates them.

Better yet... did anyone view the "End Polio" site referenced in the
article, and see Salgado's series? As always, he has some very beautiful
work. My favorite was the shot of the surgeons operating on the young
boy's
legs in what appears to be virtually light from a source not much more
than
a flashlight. Incredible shot!

Anyone know anything technical about Salgado other than the fact that he
uses Leica? How about printing? Who does his printing, (if not himself)?
It
seems to me that the physical prints are very much as work of art as his
shooting!
