David = It's not your having to rewind film that makes them gasp - it's the
fact that you're using film in the first place!:-)

Hi

I just want to thank all for your wonderful suggestions and answers to
my previous questions coming from a relatively new M user......i notice
this list has tons of OT stuff ;) but it doesn't prevent helpful folks
from taking time out to help others! Thanks guys!

Perhaps harder for me than getting used to the M would be to answer
questions from my fellow photographer friends / freelance clients why in
the world did I turn my back on modern technology and turn to using an
"old" camera with no AF, AE and worse, *gasp* one which make you rewind
the film manually....

They just don't get it!!!! :)
