Tommi,

My version operates as you would expect it to -- differently from yours.
Wide open (unmounted) means no aperture blades are visible. There is a
distinct closure of the aperture from 11 to 13.5 to 16. The problems you
mentioned aren't likely to cause major exposure errors, but you should have
it serviced as "good enough" is not why we buy Leica.
