Hi there--

Photographed this at the famous Marfa Book Store--a New
York-quality bookstore in a West Texas town about a mile
long.

Hi Bill,
A really great shot. You're not supposed to have the subject at the edge of
the frame looking out, you're not supposed to chop the subjects head across
the forehead with the frame edge. So why is it so powerful? Great light, the
bowed head, the facial expression, the tattoo and that shadow of the
reversed and inverted 'BAR' all propelling it towards, and for me beyond,
special.
The only problem with this shot is following it :-)
