I wanted the focus to be on the cameras (and hands when used) that's why
I toned the background and model's face B&W to offset the two.  Maybe a
shallower DOF from the camera to the model would be more effective.

The flat lighting comes from the fact I had just been shooting headshots
that way and just slipped the model the camera for some 'tests'. I'll
have to work on my toning so as not to make the subject look 'dead'!

I'm not that happy with how the images reproduce on Photo.net. I still
have alot to learn about Photoshop and the web! I hope to soon have my
own site up and running to better display my portfolio's.
