Mike Levitt's first post listing the reasons he switched from F5 to R8 for
auto racing photography says it all, particularly his experience replacing
Nikon 80-200 f/2.8 zooms annually.  So... if he uses the F5 system for 10
years, he buys 10 80-200 zooms, but if he uses the R8, he buys only one
70-180 zoom.  Therefore Nikon out-sells Leica 10-to-1 from this factor
alone!
