I've got the latest version and it's very nice to use. I had a bit of
trouble focussing but I've solved that with a viewfinder magnifier.

I shoot portraits with a Tele-Elmerit chrome (apparently fairly early
version) that seems to make people glow. Altho I use the Elmarit for
landscapes and on a Visoflex for closeups, my Tele-Elmarit is the best
portrait lens I've ever used.
