Subject: [Leica] FS: 50mm Russian Elmar Clone

Hello All:

I've got too many 50mm.

Just got a IIIf (love it)and it came with this little
gem. I think it's a Fed; it has three symbols on the
front of the lens. The first looks like a square with
a line through it from top to bottom, almost like a
null set or empty set symbol (F?). The second looks
like a backwards capital E or a squared off 3, (E?).
The last one looks like a, well, a D, (D?). F E D.

It's a SM collapsible 50mm 3.5 to 16 chrome lens,
Elmarish. Very small, much smaller and lighter than
the Summitar I got to replace it.

Mechanically, 9. Feels very smooth, holds focus, (has
infinity lock BTW)no discernable oil.

Cosmetic condition, 8.

Optics, 9. Glass looks good and clear, though a bit
dusty. I got some B&W back and was pleasantly
suprised. Took some shots of a spider spinning a web
that was almost directly into the sun, they came out
great; focused, contrasty, clear and flare free.

No caps.

How about $75.00 shipped anywhere CONUS?

Best,
Jeff, Sparta, NJ
