Subject: [Leica] Biggest Hole in Europe

Biggest hole in Europe lies some 30 km south of Belchatow.
It is actually a surface coal mine, actually a hole
25 kilometers long and 5 kilometers wide. Depth exceeds
300 meters. Also nearby lies a power plant, fetched
with coal from this giant mine.

I was nearby on a motorcycle meeting and made a shot
on a Foma 100. It is both a picture of Hole and a example
of why I shouldn't buy Foma.. :)

Everything between camera and power plant is The Hole.

To show you how really big is this power plant and how far it is,
look at small detail of above photo:

This white thing between chimneys and power plant is
a eleven - floor administratioin building -
33 meters high, 50 meters wide..

More, hopefully better photos soon :)

PS
Camera - Minilux, f/5.6 @ 1/125 or so..
