Starting on Oct 15th, the Getty Museum in LA will have an exhibit of photographs by documentary photographers Dorothea Lange and Horace Bristol. You can click on the link below for more information or try to navigate around the www.getty.edu site.

Lange's work is very well known but some may not be familiar with Horace Bristol. Bristol worked with Lange photographing the migrant workers of California's Central Valley. He collaborated with John Steinbeck on a story of these workers for Time magazine that became the inspiration for The Grapes of Wrath. 

The Getty happens to be one of my favorite places in the LA area to photograph. If you haven't been there, you owe yourself a visit, if just for the photographic opportunities.
