Jim, thanks for looking.  No, El Capitan would be three to four miles to the
left in this picture.  I was at the tip of Glacier Point which is where the
kind folks at the Ansel Adams Gallery suggested with the smoke in the air,
no color in the sunsets, and no clouds to catch the horizontal rays of the
early or late light.

Glacier Point is almost directly across from Half Dome and looks into the
valley that would lead to Hetch Hetchy(sic) if that wasn't under water.
