Subject: [Leica] SAW (Scan A Week)

I have a K200 slide from a few years ago that I hadn't been able to scan until
recently:

http://www.wildlightphoto.com/birds/grhe2.html

This slide needed a lot of photoshop work, because it was underexposed and had
a strong color cast. The heron was in a pond at a local nature reserve, in
the shade of several trees. The only light on the bird was sunlight filtered
through the trees, with a bit more light from the sky; a pronounced blue/green
color cast. The SL's meter called for a 1/15 sec shutter speed (at f/5.6) but
I deliberately under-exposed by one stop to reduce the risk of camera and
subject motion (BTW, the original slide and the full-sized scan have
considerably more detail than shows here).
