Hello Per:

I had an Elmar C 90/4 and currently have a Minolta C 90/4 which is also
reported to be made by Leitz. My Minolta C is a later version. Both the
Elmar and the Minolta are fine telephoto lenses. They are telephoto lenses
rather than long focus and are quite compact.

I also use a collapsible Elmar 90/4 but prefer my Elamrit 90/2.8 because of
the extra f/stop.

For a compact lens, the Elmar C is a good choice. However, the Elmar
collapsible fits in the ever ready case.
