Hi Jim,

It's the king of the zoom: the 70-180mm f2.8 Apo Vario Elmarit.
I also use the Canon 70-200 f2.8 lens which is a fantastic lens, but
the AVE is so much better, better contrast, high resolution thoughout
the whole zoom range, and in all apertures (with film - I haven't used
it enough with my digital camera to form an opinion).
