Before i got my motor(used) i read all of the horror stories in the list
archives about the dreaded shutter pump. IMHO it's not as bad as i was
expecting but I'm sure it would be better if it didn't have that problem.
One thing that i think really helps is a soft release. It lets you ride
through the up and down motion. For me it's not rapidwinder OR motordrive
it's both and I choose depending on the variables.Today for instance i went
for a bike ride downtown, one handed shooting necessitated the motor
