Subject: [Leica] Is my SF-20 dead?

Howdy,

It seems that have had more experience with the Leica warranty center than I
wanted thus far (1. they did an excellent job fixing my 3E's loose aperture
ring & 2. sent me a new rechargable battery for my old Digilux zoom).
Regardless, it also seems that I will be contacting them once more - unless
I'm missing something. Here is my newest problem in Leicadom. I was
documenting the raising of the Christmas tree this weekend (shameless family
shot type photos) and my flash just quit. No lights, no warming up buzz - no
nothing. I tested the batteries with a multi-meter and found that they have a
good charge. Hoping that the leave it alone and check later magic would work
I put it in the bag and pulled it out after supper. Of course, nothing
changed. Has anyone had an experience similar to this with the SF-20? The
camera is a M6TTL.

As always, thanks for any suggestions or advice.

Frank
