Can't really figure out your math:

Let's see, a 10% increase of price on $500, that's $50. Now, 30 * 365 =
10950 days (let's leave leap years out of the calculation, ok?). So, we
have $50 / 10950 = 0.0046 cents a day. I get to deduct the cost of the
stamp from the amount sent: 0.0046 = -.9995 cents. Hey man, you owe me a
wad!
