Can't say anything to your particular problem, but when I have puter
problems I head over to google groups and enter either the error message or
a slight description of you problem and you'll usually find your answer in
the posts of others. I just did a quick lookup and it seems that Zone Alarm
and Word Perfect don't play well with mfc42.dll, there was o lot of info you
might find someone that had circumstances similar to yours and found a fix.
Good luck.

Hi,

I (unfortunately, it seems) upgraded to Windows XP Pro yesterday. Now
Internet Explorer 6.0 doesn't work. It starts and then hangs. There is an
error in module mfc42.dll, it seems.

If anyone has experienced this problem I would appreciate any info. you can
share. In the meantime I am unable to enjoy any of those great PAWs. And, I
am very curious as to what Kyle does in the wintertime. (-;

Regards,
Doug
