On the M6TTL, even if the shutter is not wound, if the shutter release 
is pushed in it will drain the battery. As long as there is no pressure 
on the shutter release there is no battery drain. That is why you need 
to set the dial to OFF when putting it in a bag. The M7 may be 
different...
