Subject: [Leica] Some things that got ignored....

I'm really pleased with the quality of two photo essays posted to the LUG
lately and the suprising derth of conversation about them because everybody
was busy talking about acmephoto. Shame on us.

The first was sander's amazing description and photos of whale hunting
(especially the chilling account of how long it takes to kill a sperm whale
with a couple of knives on sticks)

And david degner's really really great photos of a recent immigrant

(Which unfortunately relies on a popup so won't work in my browser). I
suppose he's probably 18 or 20 by now, but he's turned into a hell of a
leica photographer.

Congratulations to both of these people for some top-notch photography (even
if sander did use a digicam).
