    Respectfully, I must disagree with Don Chatterton's comment about Leica
built quality going down after the era of the protuding red dots.
    His statement ignores developments in metalurgy, manufacturing
techniques and any experience the people at Leica gained while making
lenses.
    He only acknowledges developments in optics which is only a part of the
process...
    It has been my experience, Leica quality as always remained very high.
