Subject: Re: [Leica] Question: Single Stroke vs. Double Stroke M3

I can tell you one advantage of double stroke--although I
don't face this problem here in Corpus Christi. But in cold
climates, film tends to get stiff and brittle.
Double-stroke cameras do not put as much strain on the
film, reducing the chance of snapping or breaking the film,
or stripping the sprocket holes.

Of course, there's nothing stopping anyone from double
stroking a single-stroke camera, either.
