I've heard that about the single malts ... I have a buddy who drinks them,
and won't touch the blends. I'll take your advice  on the Lagavulin ... as
far as my significant other ... well, no scotch drinker there! ;-)

No, No, Kit!  Don't listen to Greg.  Get a bottle of Lagavulin.  Gently
ease the cork out and pour about two fingers into a heavy, cut crystal
glass - no ice, no water.  Sit in front of a fireplace, cradling the glass
in your hands, and toast your significant other as you sip the smoky nectar
of barley. One word of caution - you will never like blended whiskey again
after tasting a single malt!  It's almost as expensive a habit as Leica!
