There's already been a "Weegee movie" - Joe Pesci played the Weegeesque
main character, and he was quite a good Weegee.

Capa = Al Pacino. Definitely Al Pacino. Maybe a younger Al Pacino, but
most definitely Al Pacino.

Interestingly, this has been discussed before on the LUG (thanks
Sal...!)

One of my favourites from the archives is:

">>BROSNAN TO PLAY PHOTOGRAPHER CAPA

>VARIETY reports Pierce Brosnan will produce and star in
>BLOOD AND CHAMPAGNE, a romantic drama where he'll portray
>war photographer Robert Capa.
>

sounds dodgy!

Any other casting suggestions?

Clint Eastwood as Robert Frank
Roy Scheider as Anselm Adams
Billy Connolly as W.H Fox Talbot
Danny De Vito as Weegee
Michael Douglas as Don McCullin
Madonna as Annie Liebowitz
Jack Lemmon as Eliot Erwitt
Jack Nicholson as Brassai
Sharon Stone as Diane Arbus
John Malkovitch as Richard Avedon
Paul Newman as Ted Grant

no no no , it's all too silly!
Alex"
