Seth and Austin,

I was out taking pictures today! I was so inspired by all you flatlanders
and your snow pics, that I decided to do the same. Our local mountains
are covered with snow, so I shot some pics from my patio with lawn and
palm trees in the foreground, snowy mountains a few miles away. Used
a Leica with an adapter for a Nikon 500 mm f8 Mirror lens. Fixed focus
at infinity, of course, as the lens can't couple to the M rangefinder. I'll
try
to get the negs scanned so I can send them.

Frankly, since I can't ski any more, that's as close as I want to get to
snow.

Jerry
