I assume a pinhole is not a lens; a glassless lens; but something else entirely. That said I think what photography is all about is not the black box. It's the lens in front of it. And even at the turn of the previous century it was GLASS. GLASS GLASS GLASS My second opinion is while some people wallow in this new funny technique called "hand held Photography" I still think the fast runner up to GLASS as what its "all about" is THE BEST DAMN TRIPOD YOU CAN LAY YOUR GREEDY LITTLE HANDS ON. The question remains: "How do i attach my primo GLASS to my stupendous TRIPOD? You buy one of those black boxes.
