Subject: [Leica] MP and the "Leica" script logo

Greetings all,

I have two questions - perhaps silly - about the new Leica MP. I noticed that it has the "Leica" script on top instead of putting it ont he front of the camera. Wonderful. However, I seem to remember that Leica Camera no longer held the copyright on the script logo. I think the microscope division had it ana apparantly they are separate legal entities. So, question number one: Did that change? Question number two is in regard to the physical attributes of the scripte. Specifically, is the Leica script actually engraved, a la M3, or is it silkscreened like soem other collector cameras that surfaced not too long ago, a la Flag cameras. Thanks in advance for any information - I'm just curious.

Frank
