Can anyone help please?

I bought a Gossen Lunasix F meter secondhand last week, to use with my
Leicas, which came without instructions. I can make sense of almost
everything except how the flash measurement works. I've contacted Gossen via
their website but without response.

Can anyone help, either by pointing me to an instruction book online, or
simply by explaining the function to me?
