As your old sparring partner, QWhoZeiss@aol.com -- who happens to be one of
the most learned scholars of Capa around --  would tell you, Capa switched
from Leica to Contax shortly before the outbreak of the Second World War.
He took his D-Day pictures with Rolleiflex for the voyage in and with
Contax for the beach shots.  When he was killed he had a Contax and a Nikon
RF with him.
