Subject: Re: [Leica] Which Leica ?, M5, M6TTL, or M7

For me the main reason to get the TTL was the better three diode meter
display. I had opportunities to buy M6s before that but I never cared
for the two diode light balancing system. The shutter dial is neither a
plus or a minus for me. I have become fond of the TTL flash and, though
I seldom use it, I would have a hard time giving it up. I will always
have at least one TTL to hand for that reason. M6s and TTLs are very
cheap right now what with the market flooded with M7 trade-ins and ones
people are selling to raise the scratch to get an MP. Look for a newish
cosmetically used one and you should be able to get it for around a
$1000US. Maybe even under if you are lucky.
