I'm finding that Silverfast takes some time to get used too. Works great
when you figure everything out, even though the Epson software is easier to
use.

When using Silverfast, I'm only getting 8-bit scans. With Epson's scans, I'm
getting 16-bit. What's up?

This scanner is fast!
